Cancellation of alignment plan no. 373

Explanations on planning

Note: Parallel to this revocation procedure, development plan no. 534, which makes stipulations for the same plan area, is to be revoked.

The alignment plan no. 373 defines, among other things, a public traffic area between Diepenbenden and Grindelweg. Development plan no. 534 "An den Wurmquellen", which became legally binding on 01.05.1966, was drawn up to amend and supplement alignment plan no. 373. The alignment plan 373 provided for a junction of the extended street "An den Wurmquellen" with Grindelweg. In development plan no. 534, on the other hand, the street "An den Wurmquellen" no longer runs all the way to Grindelweg; instead, the plan was to have the street end with a turning point at a sufficient distance from Grindelweg. According to the plans at the time, only a footpath was to be provided to Grindelweg in order to create a connection. Today, the public traffic areas envisaged in both plans are not necessary from an urban planning perspective. Both plans are to be revoked as their objectives are outdated and should not be pursued further. Development plan no. 534 is also to be revoked in a separate procedure. A new development plan is then to be drawn up for parts of the plan area. The urban planning objectives were already adapted to the current situation in 2021 with the resolution A 173.
