The Planning Committee (PLA) has decided to carry out early public participation in accordance with Section 3 (1) of the German Building Code. Consultation date: PLA: 23.09.2021

Explanations on planning

Note: Parallel to this revocation procedure, alignment plan no. 373, which makes stipulations for the same plan area, is to be revoked.

Development plan no. 534 "An den Wurmquellen", which became legally binding on 01.05.1966, was drawn up to amend and supplement alignment plan no. 373. The development plan essentially contains stipulations regarding the type and extent of building use as well as public traffic areas. The alignment plan no. 373 already specifies, among other things, a public traffic area between Diepenbenden and Grindelweg. This planned public traffic area is not necessary from today's urban planning perspective. The areas that are still undeveloped today, but which are included in the development plan as areas that can be built on, should continue to be kept free and the cold air corridor should be preserved. Both plans are to be revoked as their objectives are outdated and should not be pursued any further. In a separate procedure, a new development plan is to be drawn up for the plan area following the repeal of alignment plan no. 373 and development plan no. 534. The urban planning objectives were already adapted to the current situation in 2021 with the resolution A 173.
