Explanations on planning

The aim of the planning is to create the legal basis for transforming the eastern inner city area into a high-quality old town district. By concentrating the use of prostitution and creating transitional areas, the red light district is to remain visible, compatible and socially controlled in the inner city area. By securing an open space between Büchel and Antoniusstraße, the stony center is to be loosened up and the urban community is to be offered a variety of green spaces to spend time in.
