Parking garages

There are always plenty of free spaces in the parking garages in Aachen city center, usually around 3,000.

There are 9,100 parking spaces available in 24 parking garages in Aachen's city center. 18 multi-storey parking lots with 7,600 parking spaces are connected to the central parking guidance system, which was renewed in 2015. The free spaces in the individual parking areas are displayed on the signposts in the access roads. Within the individual areas, the number of free spaces in the individual parking garages is displayed.

The current utilization of the parking garages of the municipal company APAG can be found at www.apag.de and on the mobility dashboard of the city of Aachen. Click on the pin to the left of the parking garage name to go directly to the Google route planner. You can use the menu to switch to the map view and obtain data on the parking garages.

Parking garages in parking zones for residents

Parking space in the city center is scarce - even for residents with a resident parking permit. In order to provide this group with a low-cost alternative for parking their vehicles outside of public traffic areas, there are special conditions offered by the various parking garage operators in Aachen.
