City Cycling 2025 campaign from June 1 to June 21

"FahrRad in Aachen" - City Cycling 2025 campaign took place this year from June 1 to June 21.

The city of Aachen once again took part in the nationwide "City Cycling" campaign from June 1 to 21. This time, 3,289 participants from Aachen covered 684,503 kilometers and thus ensured that 112,000 kilograms less carbon dioxide were blown into the atmosphere. In addition to Aachen, 3,013 other municipalities took part in "City Cycling" in 2025. Aachen came 109th in this year's ranking.

There is a school cycling competition for schools. The aim is to make pupils fit for cycling in everyday life and in their free time and thus promote independent mobility for children and young people. The city's "FahrRad in Aachen" campaign would like to call on all schools to take part in this campaign.
