Theaters & Stages in Aachen

Aachen City Theater

Under joint management, the Stadttheater and the Aachen Symphony Orchestra offer a diverse, varied and sensual confrontation between tradition and modernity in musical theater, drama and concerts. The theater, built by Karl Friedrich Schinkel, houses a stage and chamber where both the classical repertoire and contemporary theater have a home. In the workshop building in Hubertusstraße, the Mörgens has established itself as a stage for new forms of theater with a young audience. The concerts of the Aachen Symphony Orchestra take place in the Eurogress. The artistic work is characterized by the connection between the different areas of theater in terms of content and personnel and the networking with other institutions in the city.
