Trombone / tenor horn / baritone / euphonium / tuba
The trombone is probably the oldest and most traditional brass instrument. Therefore, literature can be found from all musical epochs and styles since the Renaissance. The trombone is used in jazz, pop and classical music (orchestral and chamber music). Other low wind instruments such as the tenor horn and tuba can also be heard in classical music. The tenor horn and baritone / euphonium are often found in music clubs, where the tuba is also very popular. All low brass instruments are highly valued in orchestras.
