In this course for two and three-year-old children with an adult, the adult participants learn to guide the child in a creative approach to music. With the joy of singing, movement and experimentation, the children's senses should also be opened to unusual sounds and rhythms.

In the group, the children live and learn the variety of musical activities through play. Singing songs, dancing, small percussion and baton playing practice, voice and movement games, improvisation, reading music, solmization, rhythmic language. Self-confidence, self-esteem as well as the appreciation of others, social behavior, concentration and creativity are encouraged.

Elective courses

  • Music theater

    Would you like to play theater?

    Then sign up for the music theater course at the Aachen Music School.

    For the school year 2025/26 we are looking for young actors, from the 1st school year onwards, who enjoy singing, dancing and acting and would like to rehearse a play with us that we would like to perform at the end of the school year.

    The course takes place weekly (120 minutes) at the music school at Blücherplatz 43 and costs 41 euros per month.

  • Dance

    This course is aimed at children with a special interest in music and movement, starting with free movement to music, posture training, stretching and strengthening exercises, as well as getting to know dance elements and dance design.

    Advanced course after the two-year MFE for children who would like to continue their education in the areas of singing and speaking, music and movement, listening skills, playing Orff instruments, instrumental skills and elementary music theory.
