The music school's offer is aimed at all age groups, from the very youngest to interested adults. Over 80 teachers teach their skills in the main building on Blücherplatz in Aachen North, but also in many daycare centers and schools throughout the city. Both young and old beginners as well as budding professionals are accompanied in their musical development. One of our particular concerns is the collaborative interaction and cultivation of our various ensembles, whose concerts help to shape cultural life in Aachen. The focus is always on the joy of making music together!

It is possible to register at the music school via the service portal of the City of Aachen. As soon as you have created a service account, you can register for music lessons online. By registering, you express your interest in music lessons and will be included in the list for allocation. The contractual obligation only begins with the start of the lessons.
Registration for workshop-type courses (instrumental orientation level, taster courses, etc.) is not possible online. Conventional written registration is still possible. Forms can be printed out, filled in and then returned to the secretary's office, emailed or faxed.

Our "MusiKita" program is aimed at all daycare children and children from the surrounding area and gives them access to music education.

We also offer class lessons in secondary schools. Here you can choose between the wind class and the string class model.
Educational allowance of the StädeRegion
Since 2011, the music school of the city of Aachen has been offering various music courses as part of the educational allowance of the city region of Aachen. The costs are borne by the city region.
