Inclusion
Lessons & ensembles
Our entire range of lessons is open to everyone - regardless of individual physical or mental abilities, language, origin, gender or other personal characteristics. The individually designed one-to-one lessons allow us to respond flexibly to needs and find suitable learning paths.
Our ensembles and choirs also welcome all interested parties according to their instrumental or vocal skill level. For personal advice or queries, please contact Ms. Cameron, Head of the Department of Cooperation and Inclusion, or the directors of the ensembles and choirs.
A special inclusive offer is our project orchestra under the direction of Hanna Gründer, which is expressly open to all pupils aged 9 to 65+ - including external pupils.
Accessibility
The music school has a ramp (incline 22%), which can be accessed via the rear entrance, as well as an elevator and a wheelchair-accessible toilet on the 1st floor. However, some glass doors can make access to the floors difficult.
If you need assistance with your visit, please contact Ms. Cameron or the office - we will find a solution together.
Collaborations & existing projects
As part of our collaborations with daycare centers and schools, we reach children with diverse backgrounds and requirements. As many of these facilities work inclusively, our services there are also designed to be inclusive. We also cooperate with facilities that have a special focus on inclusive work or on supporting children with disabilities.
Events
Music school events are free of charge unless otherwise stated. You can find a current overview in our calendar of events.
