MusiKita - An offer of the music school of the city of Aachen
Our "MusiKita" program is aimed at all daycare children and children from the surrounding area and gives them access to music education content. The holistic approach of the courses is specially tailored to the needs of the respective age groups and our teachers are trained to meet individual requirements. Proven music education concepts cover content such as singing and speaking, musical finger plays and kneeling games, children's dances and movement games, sound stories and making music on Orff instruments. The aim is to awaken the ability to experience music, to promote gross and fine motor skills as well as rhythmic and linguistic development, the ability to concentrate and relax and to experience life in a group. Of course, the focus is also on getting to know and discovering different musical instruments and one's own voice.

Group size: up to 12 children
Duration: 1 year, weekly lessons of 50 minutes each
Educational allowance
Since 2011, the music school of the city of Aachen has been offering various music courses as part of the educational allowance of the city region of Aachen. The costs are borne by the city region. We currently offer the following courses:
"Songs for kids"
Pop, rap, fun and movement songs; we sing anything we like and learn how to use our voices.
Target group: for daycare children aged 4 and over
Group size: up to 20 children
Duration: 4 x 60 minutes
