einzigARTig Festival 2025
On the weekend of September 6-7, 2025, the City of Aachen's cultural department will be holding "einzigARTig - the festival of inclusive culture" for the second time at the old ASEAG depot in Talstraße.
One of the cultural policy tasks formulated in the City of Aachen's guiding cultural profile is to strengthen and maintain equal opportunities and equity. This includes the challenge of enabling different human identities to participate in cultural events both passively and actively (i.e. not just limited to pure reception, but taking active participation into account).
einzigARTig is intended to set an example for diversity, solidarity and inclusion. The focus should not be on people's differences, but on what they have in common.
offers artists with disabilities from the entire spectrum of culture a forum to present their art to a wide audience. Collaboration with people without disabilities is also expressly encouraged.
It is important that the individual joint projects are not rigidly dictated by curators, choreographers or directors, but that the participants can influence the program on an equal footing. The guidelines here are active participation and design.
The program is rounded off with interviews, lectures, a panel discussion and information stands.
Admission is free for all interested parties.
