Tree species: English oak avenue (Quercus robur)
Location: Heyder Feldweg
Number: 24 trees
Age: around 150 years
Along the Amstelbach stream, this avenue has an almost majestic effect. The 24 English oaks line the path and form a leaf-covered passageway. The trees stand out even from a distance and mark the beginning of wide-ranging fields in the landscape. The English oak is named after its fruit clusters: two to three acorns sit on a long stalk. The leaves, on the other hand, are only attached to the branch on a very short stalk.
