Air quality

Aachen environmental zone
The boundary of the low emission zone is largely based on the Aachen outer ring road and includes all roads within this area. Vehicles within the low emission zone require a corresponding fine dust sticker.
Clean air plan
With this third update of the Aachen Clean Air Plan, which came into force on May 1, 2022, the new immediate action program will be integrated into the existing, comprehensive catalog of measures of the Aachen Clean Air Strategy.
