Strong without Islamist extremism
Preventing radicalization and extremism, in particular Islamism, can be seen as a task and challenge for society as a whole. Teenagers and young adults in particular can be especially susceptible to extremist recruitment in phases of personal destabilization.
The program "Wegweiser - Stark ohne islamistischer Extremismus" is a comprehensive and innovative prevention program of the Ministry of the Interior of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, which is represented in several cities in North Rhine-Westphalia. It focuses on comprehensive support and advice in order to prevent people from becoming involved in Islamism at an early stage. Wegweiser works preventively and in a broad network of organizations and institutions.
