12th Peace Banquet of the Religions (2024)

For the 12th time, the "Dialogue of Religions" working group in Aachen invited all members of the religious communities and interested people to its "Peace Meal of Religions" on Sunday, February 18, 2024 in the ballroom of the Altes Kurhaus.

The theme of this year's peace meal was "Always a light burning: What can religions contribute to hope in difficult times?". With this leitmotif, the members of the working group wanted to address the role of religions in challenging times and show how they can provide hope and light in crises. The guests were invited to discuss social, cultural and religious issues with participants from different religions and cultures and to discover commonalities. Each table group is accompanied by a moderator.

The peace meal once again provided an excellent opportunity to get to know each other, get to know each other better, understand each other and promote mutual respect over a buffet with a variety of culinary delicacies.
