Integration

Aachen is a cosmopolitan city, characterized by people from over 160 nations. For centuries, arriving, settling in and feeling at home have been part of everyday life in our urban society. Today, every third person in the city of Aachen has a history of immigration - a diversity that offers opportunities, but also requires joint efforts. Diversity-sensitive openness and successful integration are essential building blocks for a modern, vibrant and inclusive urban society.

People are sitting along the table, chatting, listening to the music of the stage program and enjoying a meal together. The table is decorated with flowers and parasols and the table is festively laid. Information stands are set up around the table where people can exchange information.
  • Dialogue of religions

Aachen is multi-religious. All world religions, but also other faith communities, have their place in the imperial city. What all religions have in common is the pursuit of peace and understanding. This ethical commonality is the focus of all attempts to promote the peaceful coexistence of cultures and religions in Aachen.
