Advice and help for refugees

Many people from Ukraine have set off to find protection and safety beyond their own country's borders. Especially in the context of the acute crisis caused by the war in Ukraine, the employees of the Municipal Integration Management - KIM for short - of the Housing, Social Affairs and Integration Department are now permanently on duty.

The municipal integration managers of the city of Aachen are available to assist every refugee, as well as those who take in refugees as private hosts. The content of the advice and assistance includes housing, financial support, health, language, daycare and school places. All discussions remain confidential and the service is free of charge.

Consultations in the administration building at Hackländerstraße 1 take place at the following times:

  • Monday and Tuesday 9.00 a.m. - 3.00 p.m.
  • Wednesday 9.00 - 17.00
  • Thursday 12.00 - 15.00
  • Friday 9.00 - 12.00
