Unaccompanied foreign minors

The team is responsible for all unaccompanied minor aliens (UMA) and for refugee families who receive benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act.

For the group of UMAs, this team is responsible for age assessments and reallocations within the framework of Section 42 ff SGB VIII, as well as educational assistance, reviews in the event of child endangerment, participation in court proceedings and the establishment of guardianships/ guardianships.

For refugee families living in the temporary accommodation centers and receiving benefits under the asylum seeker benefits scheme, the team provides advice on parenting difficulties and contact problems, parenting assistance, assistance in cases of child endangerment, assistance in emergency situations and is involved in court proceedings to regulate parental care.
