Aachen Alliance for Families

On May 10, 2005, on the initiative of the city council and the then Lord Mayor Dr. Jürgen Linden, the city of Aachen founded the Aachen Alliance for Families, in which many social groups and stakeholders are active: from the municipality to the Protestant church and the Rhenish-Westphalian Technical University to the Chamber of Crafts. The Muslim community is also actively involved in promoting more family friendliness.
