The specialists work together to ensure that families receive the right help, encouragement and support quickly and easily. It strengthens and networks the existing services, programs and institutions in Aachen that support families, children and young people in the various phases of life, thus building a chain of prevention. It is very important that support is not just limited to children, but also includes their parents. To ensure that the interaction works well and transitions are successful, there are network coordinators for the prevention chain in the administration of the city of Aachen, where the threads come together. This coordination office is the driving force behind the prevention chain.
