In addition to many other locations in Aachen, the city's culture department now also rents out two rooms in the city library - the lounge area and the "youthfactory".
"We have the right setting for every occasion and offer rooms in the city library that can be used in a variety of ways. All of this at a much lower price than you might think and with a modern look," emphasizes Irit Tirtey, Commercial Director of Cultural Operations.
The lounge area at the entrance to the library is just under 100 square metres in size. It can be used, for example, for theater performances, lectures, readings and film screenings for a maximum of 150 people. During the opening hours of the city library, the youthfactory presents a wide range of media for young people between the ages of twelve and 25 on an area of 220 square meters. In addition to cozy reading corners, the room offers a large area with a truss equipped with lighting technology. There is room for a maximum of 50 people seated in rows. The Aachen City Library at Couvenstraße 15 is barrier-free.
