Guided tours & workshops
Library tours
To help you get to know the city library better, we offer guided tours of the central library and the district libraries. The tours usually last about an hour and are free of charge. We are happy to discuss with you individually what content you would like to learn about during the tour. If you would like to take part in a guided tour, please make an appointment with us.
Workshop for schools "Fit for specialist work"
In the 2023/2024 school year, Aachen City Library is once again offering the workshop "Fit for the term paper". As in previous years, our workshops are aimed at students (Q1) who are writing their dissertation in the coming school year.
As a teacher, you now have the opportunity to get in touch with us and arrange an appointment for your school. We adapt our concept and free offer every year to the changing wishes of interested teachers and pupils, so please feel free to express any special requests. You are welcome to come to the city library with your school groups and learn about literature research in the digital library and databases on site. On request, we can also come to your school and teach your pupils how to conduct professional information research.
