Practical courses

Building on the experiences and evaluations from the potential analyses and the career explorations, pupils in years 9 and 10 are given the opportunity to select in-depth and supplementary three-day "practical courses". This gives them a deeper insight into their chosen career field. The respective courses are accompanied by appropriate vocational studies and social skills training.

The practical courses take place under the guidance of experienced educational trainers and socio-educational specialists. This provides the students with guidance and regular feedback on their behavior and strengths in the respective occupational field. This enables them to improve their practical vocational skills and knowledge as well as their work attitude and social/personal skills. The practical courses conclude with a certificate that the students can present when applying for internships or apprenticeships.
