The advice center

The Youth Vocational Assistance Counselling Centre at Alfonsstraße 24 is recognized as a youth social work counselling facility under the state youth plan and is funded by the Rhineland Regional Association - State Youth Welfare Office - as a "school and career-related youth social work service".

The staff at the advice center provide advice and support at secondary schools at both lower and upper secondary level as well as at vocational colleges. Essentially, careers guidance projects and advice are provided at lower secondary level from Year 8 onwards.

There is also a freely accessible counseling service, especially for the transition from school to work, on the premises of the counseling center in Alfonsstraße.

In addition to the adolescents and young adults directly affected, this is of course also available to their parents or guardians, teachers and trainers as well as other institutions at any time by (telephone) arrangement.
