Parking garages in the city center
The parking garages in Aachen's city center have plenty of spaces available. As a rule, there are always more than 2,000 to 3,000 free parking spaces, except on three days during the Christmas market. Simply follow the signs on the roadside parking guidance system.
Park + Ride
5 persons 5 euros: The "Park+Ride Ticket" is valid at all Park+Ride sites on all days of the week. For five euros, up to five people can travel by bus to destinations on and within the avenue ring.
Parking on the roadside
In Aachen, parking spaces in public areas in designated areas are subject to a charge. From Monday to Saturday between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., one hour costs 3 euros. The maximum parking time is 60 minutes, for electric vehicles 120 minutes. The city of Aachen recommends parking in the parking garages because parking there is cheaper and not limited in time.

The A 544 is open again
The closure of the A 544 was lifted on September 8. It is now open to traffic again. The Haarbachtal bridge and the Auf der Hüls bridge on the A 544 were rebuilt in just under 20 months. All detour routes via the A 4 and A 44 highways have been closed. The relevant signs and information boards are gradually being removed from the roads (freeways and inner-city roads).
