To get to know Aachen properly you must take a walk around the town. To meet the people take a rest here and there, in one of the lively cafes or bars. The town people are pleasant and uncomplicated, you could say easily approachable. Probably you'll soon be accepted like most newcomers as 'one of us'! The town houses 45,000 students from numerous countries, and they have strongly influenced the vastly differing gastronomic treats available. A sense of togetherness where ever you go...in one of the 'better' restaurants, in the old traditional cafes, in the fashionable 'Internationales Spielcasino Aachen', in the theatre, at a concert, or a fascinating cabaret or floor show.
