Around the market place there are bigger clothes and shoe shops, but also many small boutiques and specialist shops. The biggest clothes and shoe shops are in particular located in the Großköllnstraße, as e.g. SinnLeffers Aachen. Those who, however, feel more comfortable in individual small boutiques will be in good hands in the remaining streets around the market place. There is not only a very nice offer of clothes shops in this area, but also those who love special teas, oils and other foodstuff can indulge in the wide range of products offered in the Krämerstraße. Pfeifen Schneiderwind with its wide range of tobacco and cigar brands supplements this manifold offer. Jewellery for your beloved one is found in the area around the market place, in addition the model making shop Hünerbein with a large offer of model railway accessories is located here.
With the historic old town as backdrop shopping in the area of the market place is given a special atmosphere not only during Christmas time. Those looking for a present or for furnishing objects are at the right address in the Jakobstraße: here many small, individual shops are lined up.
